SITS Developer

Delivered development, system enhancements and technical support during a major platform upgrade, working across admissions, assessments, progression, finance and student records. Supported upgrade stabilisation across multiple environments, resolved permissions, access and data issues, enhanced progression and assessment logic and developed new functionality to streamline condensed-course administration and other operational processes. Also contributed to graduation configuration, portal UI/UX improvements and knowledge transfer to permanent staff.

Designed and delivered a complex new reporting solution, combining Oracle SQL, SITS and JavaScript to integrate and process data from multiple sources. Identified significant performance constraints and developed an innovative architecture separating core and intensive data processing and moving substantial processing and presentation logic into JavaScript. Developed efficient client-side data structures, reusable processing functions, complex module and credit calculations, data cleansing and dynamic reporting functionality, successfully delivering a sophisticated new solution within the constraints of the SITS platform.
